FAQ
Towing Services
More on each service page:
Do you really answer the phone at night?
Yes. Artems Towing operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. A live person answers and dispatches a truck.
How fast can a tow truck get to me in Auburn?
Arrival time depends on traffic and where our trucks are, but we give you a clear ETA on the call. Many customers in Auburn, Kent and Federal Way have had a truck on scene in around 30 minutes.
What vehicles count as light duty?
Most passenger cars, SUVs, crossovers, minivans and light pickup trucks. If you’re unsure, tell us the year, make and model and we’ll send the right truck.
Can you tow my all-wheel-drive car or EV?
Yes. AWD vehicles and EVs should not be dragged with wheels on the ground, so we use a flatbed or wheel dollies to protect your drivetrain.
Why choose a flatbed over a wheel-lift tow?
A flatbed keeps every wheel off the pavement, which prevents transmission and driveline wear and is the safest option for damaged, AWD or electric vehicles.
Can you load a lowered or exotic car?
Yes. Our decks tilt to a low angle and we use extra care and soft straps to avoid scraping bumpers or splitters.
How far will you tow a vehicle?
We tow statewide across Washington and can discuss trips to the Oregon border and beyond. Call with your pickup and drop-off points for a quote.
How is long distance towing priced?
Long hauls are usually quoted as a flat rate based on mileage and vehicle type, so you know the full price before we leave.
Who decides where my car is towed after an accident?
You do. We’ll tow your vehicle to the body shop, dealership or address you choose.
Will my insurance cover accident towing?
Many auto policies include towing coverage. We provide a clear invoice and photos you can submit with your claim.
Will my motorcycle be scratched during towing?
We use soft straps on frame points, never on painted or chrome surfaces, and secure the front wheel with a chock.
Can you tow a motorcycle that was in an accident?
Yes. We can recover and tow damaged motorcycles to a shop, home or storage.
FAQ

More on each service page:
Is roadside assistance cheaper than a tow?

No membership is required. Call us directly and pay only for the service you need.
Will unlocking my car cause damage?
No. We use professional wedge and reach tools designed to open doors without harming paint, glass or seals.

FAQ
Recovery, Dealers & Auctions
More on each service page:
What's the difference between a tow and a recovery?
A tow moves a vehicle that’s on the road. A recovery gets a vehicle back onto solid ground first, using winches and rigging, before it can be driven or towed.
Will winching damage my vehicle?
Our operators use proper anchor points, snatch blocks and soft straps to minimize stress and avoid additional damage.
What size vehicles can you tow?
We tow light and medium-duty vehicles, including box trucks, cargo vans and small commercial trucks. Call with your vehicle details and we’ll confirm.
Do you offer fleet accounts?
Yes. We work with businesses that need dependable towing for vans and trucks. Call to set up an account.
Do you work with dealerships on a regular schedule?
Yes. We support dealerships with on-demand and recurring transport across the Puget Sound region and statewide.
Can you transport new vehicles without adding miles?
Yes. All dealership moves are done on a flatbed, so no miles are added.
Can you pick up a non-running auction car?
Yes. We use flatbeds with winches to load vehicles that don’t start or roll.
What do you need for an auction pickup?
Send us the lot or stock number, the yard location and your release or gate pass, and we’ll schedule the pickup.
